There are two primarily choices in life: to accept conditions {#blank#}1{#/blank#} they exist, or accept responsibility for changing them. Many people are {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (constant) waiting for their life to start. They always say, “When I am older I will do this.” {#blank#}3{#/blank#} “In a few years, I will do that.” They think the life they {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (experience) is boring and {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (mean). Who has never viewed himself or herself as worthless and unattractive?

    All of us may suffer {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (depress) and frustration, lose guidance and support, and need aids physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Just think like this way: This too shall pass. Horrible feelings I am feeling will eventually go away. I need to stop feeling so sorry for myself and actually want to change. I am {#blank#}7{#/blank#} incredibly lucky person {#blank#}8{#/blank#} has come from a family who love and support my whole life. I had to be the one {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (make) the decision to change my way of thinking. All the good things and all the wonderful people in my life would pass eventually too. While I am feeling miserable, my life is still going on and I am missing out on appreciating those precious {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (moment).

    There is much discussion about the necessity of daily homework for students. Some say homework is necessary since only practice{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (make) perfect, while others disagree. In my opinion, daily homework is necessary for students.

    However, this might be misleading that one may believe all forms of homework are necessary{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(actual), only proper amount of homework in proper form is{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(accept); some homework may not only fail{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (help) the students, but on{#blank#}5{#/blank#}contrary bore them so much that they may lose their interest in studying. “Proper”homework, in my opinion{#blank#}6{#/blank#} (vary) in its forms{#blank#}7{#/blank#}might be some extensive reading, a paper, or even just a game, as well as other ordinary exercise. And it should leave enough{#blank#}8{#/blank#} (free) to the students so that they could do things they really like to do with self-motivation, rather than unwillingness. We should always remember that homework is something for us to guide the students, rather than drive them. Only if a teacher {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(keep) this {#blank#}10{#/blank#}his/her mind, the homework could be of most help to the students.

    Daisy had always longed to help endangered species of wildlife. One day she made a dream that she {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(take) to a distant land in Tibet by a flying carpet .There, the antelope told her they were killed for the wool beneath their {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(stomach). Then the carpet flew her to Zimbabwe {#blank#}3{#/blank#} she met an elephant. A monkey was seen rubbing a millipede insect over {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(it) body.  Daisy was{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(amaze) and asked the monkey what the millipede contained. Knowing it contained a powerful drug, Daisy could hardly wait {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(share) the good news with WWF.

    New Year in Chinese eyes is a family reunion. However, in foreigners' eyes, it is not only a kind of homesickness, but a spring migration(迁徙).Every year {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (see) the largest annual mass migration on the planet {#blank#}2{#/blank#} one sixth of the world's population travel home to celebrate {#blank#}3{#/blank#} their families.     The Chinese New Year {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (celebrate) is also known as the Spring Festival. It lasts 15 days. It is the main holiday of the Chinese calendar. In modern China, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (search) for work, many people have to move away from home. And they will travel home to be with the loved ones during the Spring Festival. In Chinese New Year, modern and {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (tradition) customs are brought together when the Chinese celebrate the Spring Festival. Daisy had always longed to help {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (endanger) species of wildlife. Daisy turned around and found that she {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (watch) by an elephant. It asked if Daisy came to take its photo. In relief Daisy burst into {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (laugh). A monkey watched them and protected itself {#blank#}7{#/blank#} mosquitoes by rubbing. The monkey told them that they should pay more attention to the rainforest where it lived {#blank#}8{#/blank#} appreciated how the animals lived together. Daisy was amazed and they flew home. From this experience Daisy learned the {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (important) of wildlife protection. {#blank#}10{#/blank#} an experience!
