When I was little, my grandpa looked after me because my parents were both busy {#blank#}2{#/blank#}their work. At that time, only a few people {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(have) cars. I always clapped my little hands and sang {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(happy). Grandpa turned back over and over again to make sure my little feet would not get caught in the wheels.     One day, I was walking down Jackson Street to catch the bus when several tough guys jumped out and robbed me. I didn't think he was going to help me. But he saw me and {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(feel) sorry for me. He called the police and then stayed with me, {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(wait) for the ambulance. The next day, the doctor said to me, " {#blank#}10{#/blank#}was a good thing that the man helped you. You were dying. Who was he-a friend?" I thought for a minute, and answered, "Yes, he was."

    Biking is a popular form of exercise because it's healthy and environmentally friendly. Many cities have made efforts to make cycling {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (easy) and more popular. In the US, Bike to Work Day {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (hold) on May 20^th every year. The aim of the day is to encourage people {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (ride) bikes.

    Copenhagen, the capital {#blank#}4{#/blank#} Denmark, is the world's most bike—friendly city. During rush hour, traffic lights are always green for bikers. When it's snowy, people clear the snow in bicycle lanes(车道) {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (one), and the car lanes come next.

Cars often take up bicycle lanes and {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (bike) have to ride next to cars in car lanes. It is very dangerous. Chinese government is doing {#blank#}10{#/blank#} it can to improve the situation.
