There are many pop{#blank#}2{#/blank#} and singing groups ,like Back Street Boys, Secret Garden, West Life{#blank#}3{#/blank#} so on .They are foreign (外国的）singers. There are {#blank#}4{#/blank#} many famous singing groups and pop singers in {#blank#}5{#/blank#}.People like them very much. Many young people want to be pop {#blank#}6{#/blank#} .They think it will be a very good life. In fact,(实际上）most pop stars live a{#blank#}7{#/blank#} life. They spend (花费）most of their{#blank#}8{#/blank#}  on tour, and they travel{#blank#}9{#/blank#} one city to another and sing for people. Although (尽管）it can be{#blank#}10{#/blank#}  ,it can also be tired out.

    In the past, the people in Wenling lived a poor {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. The houses were old and small. Pollution was very serious, and there was rubbish everywhere. The traffic was not convenient, so few visitors came here.

    Now great changes have taken place in Wenling. The environment has {#blank#}2{#/blank#} more beautiful. The rivers have turned {#blank#}3{#/blank#} and the sky has turned bluer. Can you show me who your idol (偶像) is? An idol is someone who we respect (尊重) and love. As for me, my idol is neither a world leader nor an important person in 1 . My idol is my dad. 

Most people believe that a man should go out 2 work. When I was only five, I was 3 ill and needed care all the time. My mother and father both worked and my grandparents lived far away. This was a 4 problem. My dad knew how much my mum loved her job, so he stopped working and stayed at home to 5 me. Many men in this 6 would want their wives to care for the child. But my dad always thinks about others before 7 . This made me full of respect. 

My dad later took a 8 and worked at night. He chose the job so that he would only leave home when I was sleeping. Since then, my dad has 9 and supported me in every- thing I do. I remember when I learned to ride a bike. My dad ran behind me and held the back of the bicycle so that I wouldn't fall. I felt so safe 10 I knew he was near. I didn't even 11 him stop holding me. Soon, I was able to ride by myself. 

My family isn't 12 , and we don't own a big house or an expensive car. But my dad has showed me that 13 is more important than money. Although he now works hard every day and is often very 14 , he always finds time to stay with me. He helps me with my homework, and plays games with me. He has also taught me that I can 15 my dream if I really work hard on it.

The Browns live in the southeast of China. It is on the Pacific coast. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(compare) to other places, it is very hot in summer and warm in winter. But there are typhoons (台风) from time {#blank#}2{#/blank#} time in summer. Mr Brown likes swimming very much. Every weekend, he goes swimming in the West River near his home. The West River is very wide. Each time he swims a little longer than last time {#blank#}3{#/blank#} he always wants to challenge (挑战) himself. And then he takes photos of his success. There are a lot of {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(photo) in his WeChat Moments (微信朋友圈). 

One day, Mr Brown planned {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(swim) in the West River. But his wife said, "Don't go out. There {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(be) a typhoon in a few minutes." "Don't worry. I can swim at any time." Then he went swimming in the West River.{#blank#}7{#/blank#}, when he swam for about ten minutes, he was pushed by something unknown. He was so scared that he hurried to swim back to the bank (河岸). But he couldn't. He thought, "Probably, I won't swim to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} opposite bank. Then I {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(die) here in one minute because of the unknown power." Luckily, he succeeded in swimming from the east coast to the west coast. "It is the {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(good) time to take photos and share them in WeChat Moments. But next time, I won't do it again on a typhoon day!" said Mr Brown. 

Last summer holiday, I went bungee jumping (蹦极) with my best friend, Tony. I was very happy at first. But while Tony was going up, I just stood on the {#blank#}1{#/blank#}because I was a bit afraid. "Come on, Bill.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} me!" Tony said. I thought about it for a while and went up. I took all the things out of my pocket. I tried twice. Then I jumped and {#blank#}3{#/blank#} down. It was fast. Finally, I {#blank#}4{#/blank#} safely. I was so {#blank#}5{#/blank#} that I wanted to go bungee jumping again.
