    One of my happier days was hearing that I was admitted into a medical school. It has been a dream of me for as long as I can remember. My father played big role in my desire to become a physician. See him live a life of services to others inspired me from a young age. Watching him to put on his white coat with the stethoscope（听诊器）around his neck was liked looking at a superhero. Hearing him share stories of how medical care saved patients' lives was enjoyable.     When you are in public places, you will see many smokers. And most of them were young people and even middle school student. Why do so many people enjoy smoke? Someone once told me that it made him relaxing. In fact, smoking is the bad habit. It does greater harm to our health. For smokers, it is a waste of money, and cause all kinds of diseases.     One day, when I was on the train, there were a crowd at one of the stations. A old man and a little girl tried to get on.     How is everything going with you? In your last e-mail you asked me to tell you something about Isaac Asimov. Here is something I know about him.

    Isaac Asimov, an American scientist and a writer, was born on 2 January, 1920. Asimov's talent for writing became obvious at the age eleven. He told a friend two chapter of a story he had written. The friend thought he was retelling a story from a book, what surprised Asimov and from that moment, he started to take himself serious as a writer. Asimov began having stories publish in science fiction magazines in 1939. Throughout her life, Asimov received many awards, both for his science fiction books and his science books. He died in 1992 as a result of a HIV infection that he has got from a blood transfusion nine years earlier.
