Years ago, I lived in a building in a town. There was another building across from {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (I), and it was only a few metres away. There lived a woman whom I had never met. I could see her sit by the window each afternoon, drinking or reading.

    Several months later, I noticed her window was very dirty. Everything was not clear through the window. I wondered {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the woman didn't wash her window.

    One {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (sun) morning, I decided {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (clean) up my apartment, including {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (wash) my windows. Late in the afternoon when I finished cleaning, I sat down for a rest by the window. What {#blank#}6{#/blank#} surprise! The woman sitting by her window was clearly {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (see)! Her window was clean! {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (Sudden), I realized I had made a mistake. I have watched her through my dirty window all the time.

    That was quite an important lesson for me. Since then, whenever I wanted to judge someone, I asked myself {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (one), "Am I looking {#blank#}10{#/blank#} him through the dirty window of my heart?" Then I try to clean the window of my own world so that I may see the world clearly.

    I've always loved pigs. When l was a kid, I wanted a pet pig very much {#blank#}1{#/blank#} I adopted(收养) a black-and-white young pig, Angus. He followed me and my dog wherever we went. He enjoyed {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (play) with tennis balls very much and he even learnt how {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (bring) back a tennis ball. After Angus grew too big for our backyard, he {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (send) to my uncle's farm. We'd go to the farm to visit him on the weekend and bring him some food.

    One afternoon, my uncle called {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (sad) to tell us mat Angus got lost. We went to the farm quickly and looked {#blank#}6{#/blank#} Angus. We couldn't find him anywhere. We guessed that he went missing or died. {#blank#}7{#/blank#} a pity! My uncle had a friend who owned a pig farm about 4 kilometres away. This morning, his friend called my uncle and said he {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (see) a pig stay on his farm. At the suggestion of my uncle, he threw {#blank#}9{#/blank#} tennis ball. The pig caught it and brought it back. It was Angus! In a hurry my family drove to bring Angus back to my uncle's farm.

    Now Angus is starting to enjoy {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (he) on my uncle's farm again with all the other animals.

There are lots of amazing places for people to imagine and expect in the world. But many people {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (encourage) to go into Cambridge.

I come from Cambridge, a beautiful city in the east of England. I have grown up there and experienced many {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (wonder) times. I have many good {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (memory) of it. In recent years, it develops {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (rapid) and has changed a lot. For this, more and more tourists take an interest in it.

It is about 2,000 years old, and it is famous {#blank#}7{#/blank#}Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge. England {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (it) is part of an island. It owns rich tourism resources. Tourists like the mountain areas and beautiful lakes in the north, and the hills and pretty villages in the south. So it's really perfect for you {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (pay) a visit. It is never very hot in summer {#blank#}10{#/blank#}very cold in winter. So you can visit England any time of the year. Or it will be a pity in the rest of time.
