It was Mother's Day, Nancy was 800 miles away from her parents, so she was a little {#blank#}1{#/blank#} . In the morning she {#blank#}2{#/blank#}her mother to wish her a happy Mother's Day, and her mother told her about the beautiful flowers in the garden. Later that day, {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  she told her husband about the flowers, he said, "I know where we can find all that you want. Get our children Peter and Lily, and come on." So they went, {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  down the country roads.  
     There on a {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  , they saw a lot of beautiful purple flowers. Nancy ran {#blank#}6{#/blank#}    to enjoy the flowers. Carefully, she picked a few here and a few there. And on their way home, there was a big smile {#blank#}7{#/blank#} her face.
     When they were passing a nursing home, she saw an old granny sitting in a chair. The granny had {#blank#}8{#/blank#} children with her. They stopped the car and Nancy walked to the old woman, put the flowers in her hands, and smiled at her. The old granny {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  her again and again. She smiled happily, too.
     When Nancy {#blank#}10{#/blank#} to her car, her children asked her, " Who is that old granny? Why did you give our flowers to her?”
" I do't know her.” Nancy said, "But it's Mother's Day, and she is alone. But I have both of you, and I still have my mother. Just think how much those flowers meant to her.

       In a happy town there lived a little, beautiful and smart girl, and{#blank#}1{#/blank#} name was Rose. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  in the town liked her. She was so brave（勇敢的）, but one thing she was scared of was the doctor.

One day her tooth was moving. Her mum saw it. She said, "Your tooth is moving, and you need to{#blank#}3{#/blank#} Doctor Tim."
Rose said, "No! I am not going to the doctor. " Mum said, "Don' t worry. It' s not so wobbly（摆动的）now." That made Rose feel{#blank#}4{#/blank#} 
        After five weeks, Rose forgot about her tooth{#blank#}5{#/blank#} her mum didn't. She checked her tooth again and it was wobbly, so she said, "It's time to see the doctor."
Rose was{#blank#}6{#/blank#} but she had to do what her mum told her, so they went to see Doctor Tim. They had to wait in the waiting room.
       When it was her{#blank#}7{#/blank#} , her heart was bumping（碰撞）very fast. She went into Doctor Tim' s room. He was smiling. She sat on the chair.
Doctor Tim said, "{#blank#}8{#/blank#} your eyes. "
       Rose closed her eyes, but just before Doctor Tim started, tears started coming down her eyes. But when she{#blank#}9{#/blank#} her eyes, she saw Doctor Tim holding her tooth.
Rose smiled. Then Doctor Tim{#blank#}10{#/blank#} her a teddy bear（泰迪熊）and from that time Rose wash' t scared of doctors any more.

    Emily has so many {#blank#}1{#/blank#} in her family. She has to do her homework {#blank#}2{#/blank#} school. She can't go out {#blank#}3{#/blank#} school nights. She has to wash the dishes after dinner，and then she can watch TV {#blank#}4{#/blank#}half an hour. She likes {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. She usually reads at night. She has to be in bed {#blank#}6{#/blank#} ten o'clock because she has to get up {#blank#}7{#/blank#} the next morning. She {#blank#}8{#/blank#} a music club.

    She has to {#blank#}9{#/blank#} her guitar every day. She doesn't think she's {#blank#}10{#/blank#}.
