Every time I see people riding bicycles on the street, I always think of the time I used {#blank#}1{#/blank#}on my grandpa's old bike.

    When I was little, my grandpa looked after me because my {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (parent) were both busy with their work. At that time, only a few people {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (have) cars. Most people usually got around {#blank#}4{#/blank#} bike. And how did I go to the school then? Yes, I went there on Grandpa's bike! {#blank#}5{#/blank#} the bike was moving forward, it made some funny sounds that made me {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (laugh). I always clapped my little hands and sang {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (happy). Grandpa turned back over and over again to make sure my little feet would not get caught in the wheels. Grandpa was so careful {#blank#}8{#/blank#} I never got hurt in his care.

    {#blank#}9{#/blank#} a sweet memory it is! Now, I {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (study) in a boarding school and I miss my grandpa a lot. I wish I could relive those old days.

    In the morning, we went camping along a path in Green Natural Park. We were happy {#blank#}1{#/blank#}it was a sunny day. We were expecting an {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(enjoy) two-day holiday. On the way, we kept {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(sing) and making jokes.

    {#blank#}4{#/blank#}, in the afternoon, when we finished our picnic at one o'clock, it was dark and windy. Soon, there was a shower. Unluckily, none of us brought an umbrella. We ran about but we could find no place to hide in.

    Twenty minutes passed and it was still {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(rain). There were hours to go before we could reach the campsite(野营地).It was even {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(bad) that our small compass showed that we went the wrong way. We had lost our way!

    We had to make a quick {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (decide) as it was raining heavily. Chris said we could set up a tent to hide {#blank#}8{#/blank#}, so Mary and Tom helped to set up the tent. Chris and I tried to make a fire to keep us warm. But we were {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (able) to light the fire, as everything was wet. We dried ourselves, chatted and waited inside the tent. At about five o' clock, it stopped raining. We decided to give up the camping trip because all of us had been very tired.

    This camping trip may not be very successful but we know each other better. And the most important thing I {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (learn) from this trip is the importance of team spirit.

    We live in a small town and almost everyone knows each other. It used to be very quiet. Nothing much ever happened around here. However, these days something unusual is {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(happen) in our town. Victor, a teacher at my school, is really nervous. When he was interviewed {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the town newspaper, he said, "Every night we hear strange noises outside {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(we) window. My wife thinks that it could be {#blank#}4{#/blank#}animal, but my friends and I think it must be teenagers having fun. My parents called the policemen, but they couldn't find anything strange. They think it might be the wind. I don't think so!"

    Victor's next-door neighbor Helen is {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(worry), too. "At first, I thought that it might be a dog, but I couldn't see a dog or anything else, either. So I guess it can't be a dog. But then, what could it be?" One woman in the area {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(see) something running away, but it was dark so she is not sure." I think it was too big to be a dog," she said." Maybe it {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(be) a bear or a wolf."

    Everyone in our town is feeling{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(easy), and everyone has his or her ideas. There must be something visiting the homes in our neighborhood,{#blank#}9{#/blank#}what is it? We have no idea. Most people hope that this animal {#blank#}10{#/blank#}person will simply go away, but I do not think that is going to happen. The noise-maker is having too much fun creating fear in the neighborhood.
