Daniel Davila can often {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (see) walking around the city of San Francisco. Sometimes people are surprised to see him walking   {#blank#}2{#/blank#}any shoes or socks, {#blank#}3{#/blank#}Daniel doesn't mind at all. He likes to walk barefoot, and so {#blank#}4{#/blank#} 740 other members of Dirty Sole Society, the club that Daniel started years ago. Daniel's idea for this is to encourage others to live{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (free) —free of shoes.

    According to Daniel, the barefoot life has many advantages. {#blank#}6{#/blank#}most important is simply that it feels good. He also says that  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} ( walk) barefoot allows you to experience the world directly by touching it with your feet. In addition, the feet do not smell so much  {#blank#}8{#/blank#} they stay dry, making it hard for bacteria to grow.
