Sometimes we meet people who change us. They bring magic(魔法) into our lives. Bridge to Terabithia (《通往特雷比西亚的桥》), the latest movie from Walt Disney, tells us such a story.

    Jess Aarons is a different kind of kid. He doesn't have too many friends in school. He is distant (疏远的) from his family as well. Jess wants to be the fastest runner in his school. He spends all of his time training for a race.

    But something strange happens. He's beaten, not by a boy but by a girl! As you might think, his pride is hurt.

    You wouldn't think Jess, and the girl, Leslie, would become friends. But the two kids open up to each other. Leslie shares her love of magic with Jess. Jess loves drawing. But before meeting Leslie he's never told anyone about it.

    Together they discover a secret world. They get to it by using a rope to swing across a river. There they fight against their enemies, from the Dark Master to school bullies (欺负弱小者).

Here is a part from Maria's diaries(日记) about her vacation.

The 3^rd Day: Yesterday we arrived in London in the rain. We went to some big shops.

The 4^th Day: We came to Paris. The day was cloudy and the food wasn't good. We liked the shops here, but the things were dear.

The 5^th Day: We arrived in Rome in the hot weather. We had lunch in a small restaurant, and the food was delicious. We visited some shops. They were all wonderful.

The 6^th Day: We went to New York and the things in the shops were all dear. But we liked the warm weather there.

The 7^th Day: Today we visited New York City. The weather was fine. We'll go back home tomorrow after a week's vacation.

Three good habits that help improve your memory

    Do you want to have a better memory? Many people would say yes. But how?

First, exercise {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. When you exercise your body, you also exercise your brain. Your brain gets more oxygen when you exercise, like {#blank#}2{#/blank#}.

Second, don't eat too much {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. Have a good diet. This will help your brain become healthier.

    Third, {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. If you're happy, your mind will become livelier and your memory will become sharper.

    If you have these habits, your memory will improve. You'll {#blank#}5{#/blank#}your studies and in your life. Thank you for listening.

Children all around the world love Lego bricks(乐高积木). With those bricks, they can make anything they want. Lego bricks are a great toy(玩具) to play with. Now, for the first time, Lego makes Braille Bricks in English and French, making them a useful toy for blind(失明的) children. 

Lego Braille Bricks have dots (小圆点) on them. The dots are Braille. By feeling (感受) them, blind children can read words and numbers. They can also learn Braille when playing with the bricks. It makes learning easy and fun. 

Olivia is a blind girl, and she learns Braille when playing with the Lego bricks at her school. She loves to play with them and learn Braille at the same time. Her mother also plays with her at home and now she also knows Braille. 

Reece, a little boy, uses the Lego bricks to teach his family Braille. Now, his mother and sister know Braille as well. He says, "I feel so good. Because my loved ones learn something new and I am their teacher. So cool!"

Lego makes its colourful bricks useful. Let's thank it for bringing a new way of playing and learning!
