An old woman went shopping last Tuesday. She came to a bank and saw a car near a door.  A man got out of it and went into the bank. She looked into the car. The keys were in the lock. The old woman took the keys and followed the man into the bank. The man took a gun out of his pocket and said to the clerk (办事员), “Give me all the money. "

      But the old woman didn't see this. She went to the man, put the keys in his hand and said, "Young man, you're foolish. Never leave your keys in your car.  Someone is going to steal it."

      The man looked at the old woman for a few seconds (秒). Then he looked at the clerk and then he took his keys, ran out of the bank, got into his car and drove away quickly without any money.

    Today Daming ate a hamburger for breakfast. He likes hamburgers.But his little sister doesn't like hamburgers . She likes hot dogs . Tomorrow is Daming's birthday . His mum is going to make a cake for him . Daming is going to eat lots of delicious food . He is very happy .

    How are you feeling? You missed school last week. Then I heard(听到) from Jason that you fell off your bike on your way to school last Tuesday. And you hurt your leg. I also heard you stayed in hospital for several days. I hope (希望) your leg doesn't hurt too much. Now you are at home. You must be bored(无聊的) staying at home all day. I will go to visit you this weekend. Do you need anything? If you like, I can bring(拿来) you some picture books. Everyone in our class misses you and we all hope you can get well soon.

    Sam is a clever boy. He often plays sports on the weekend. Sometimes he goes on a picnic with his friends. His favourite month is August, because he has a summer vacation. He can eat ice cream, swim, and play games with friends on summer vacation. But his sister Sarah doesn't like August. She likes July best, because her birthday is in July. Sarah likes winter best. Because she likes snow, and she can make a snowman in winter.

    Many parts of the world have four seasons. They are spring, summer, fall and winter. Spring follows winter. It becomes warmer and the days become longer. Plants begin to grow and many animals have babies. Summer is the hottest season. It does not get dark until late. Plants grow fast. In fall the days get shorter. The weather turns cooler. Trees may lose their leaves. Some birds fly to warmer places. Winter is the coldest season. It gets dark early in the evening. Plants stop growing and many trees are bare(光秃).
