Driving to the airport in the early morning, I felt  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(excite) because I would spend the summer in Paris. While {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (look) for more interesting things to do besides sleeping and eating on the plane, I jumped at the chance to study French in this city {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (know) for its art, food and culture.

    My connecting flight (转机) was in Frankfurt, Germany, 14 hours from Denver. But when I arrived there, a feeling of anxiety {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (begin) to set in.     When I stepped on foreign ground for the first time, I was {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (extreme) happy. I quickly had my first experience trying to communicate in {#blank#}10{#/blank#} language that I had only practised in school. As I left the airport, with one sharp turn, the Eiffel Tower came into view. I was fully in Paris.

    When you step into a new environment, you might have some difficulty in fitting in. Here are some tips {#blank#}1{#/blank#} might help you.

    Be confident. You are unique in this world. Spend some time thinking about your {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(strong) and you will be able to build up confidence step by step.

    Be kind to everyone. Kindness is the bridge to your own happiness. Always give more than you receive, and think more of others than of {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (you). A person who cares for others is popular everywhere.

    Be active in group activities. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(vary) activities like playing football can help you to be known {#blank#}5{#/blank#}others. You may add more friends to your circle. At the same time, you'll be amazed {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (see) how much they like you.

    Be optimistic. Optimism {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (make) both you and others feel pleased. It helps you make {#blank#}8{#/blank#}good first impression. A pleasant smile costs the {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (little) but does the most. If you follow the suggestions {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (mention) above, you will be accepted by people around you.     Sudan is the only male northern white rhino (犀牛) left in the world. More than 1,000 rhinos {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (kill) in 2014 in South Africa alone and fifty-four rhinos in Kenya, which has a much {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (small) population.

    Sudan, Fatu, and Najin have had their horns {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (remove) so that they will not be hunted. People hope Sudan and one of the females will be able to have a baby. Sudan is very old, but scientists will not give up hope.

    Today, it is not rare that people may lose their jobs, so it is perhaps the time to consider the experience of unemployment. What are the first feelings? Well, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (lose)a job, or not being able to find one, almost always causes sadness.

You can use the time to consider{#blank#}8{#/blank#} you really want to get from life and how you can get it. Also you can use the time to plan how to find {#blank#}9{#/blank#} new job, learn a new skill, or see if you can run your own business and become a success. {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(possible), a new and better job is already waiting for you.
