My name is Jim White. I live in America. I had a very {#blank#}1{#/blank#} experience on Sunday. I saw a UFO in the daytime. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} this spring, I went outside with my friend Bill {#blank#}3{#/blank#} lived close to me. We were walking to a hill {#blank#}4{#/blank#} I saw a large bright light dancing in the sky. I called Jim and asked him to look up. He kept {#blank#}5{#/blank#} , “What is that?” “A UFO!” I shouted excitedly. I{#blank#}6{#/blank#} it was round and red in the center.
After we looked at {#blank#}7{#/blank#} for a moment, we found it seemed that it had wings, but it was still round. Bill would not believe me when I told him it {#blank#}8{#/blank#} be a UFO. We shouted{#blank#}9{#/blank#} it and we wished that it would land. We wanted to know {#blank#}10{#/blank#} there was an alien in it. But soon it disappeared. I guessed we scared it off.

A Frenchman went to a small Italian town and was staying with his wife at the best hotel there. One night, he went out for a walk alone. It was late. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} . Suddenly he felt someone behind him. He turned his head and saw an Italian young man who quickly walked past him. The man was nearly out of sight when the Frenchman suddenly found that his watch was gone. He thought that it must be the Italian who had taken his watch. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} because he wanted to get back the watch.
　　Soon the Frenchman caught up with the Italian. Neither of them understood the other's language. The Frenchman shook his fist(拳头) in the Italian's face and pointed at the watch.{#blank#}3{#/blank#} . In the end he gave up his watch to the Frenchman.
When he returned to the hotel, the Frenchman told his wife what had happened. He was greatly surprised when his wife pointed to the watch on the table. Now he realized that by mistake he had robbed(抢劫) the Italian. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} .

    Mrs．Patrick  was  a piano teacher．She{#blank#}1{#/blank#}hundreds of students．At age 69，Mrs．Patrick had a stroke (中风)．She couldn't move or speak．As the days passed，she got better, but her right hand was still very {#blank#}2{#/blank#} ．She couldn't play the piano anymore．She was very sad．

    Our town is a great place to live in. It's the best place to enjoy my {#blank#}1{#/blank#} time.

    There are three movie {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. They are all good, but the one near my house is the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.The most popular place for people to hang out is the Shopping Street, so it's really {#blank#}4{#/blank#}.

    {#blank#}5{#/blank#} is very convenient (便利的) in our town. There are many clothes stores and {#blank#}6{#/blank#} of them are trendy, but they are much {#blank#}7{#/blank#} than those in other cities.     Sometimes there are even street {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. Some students think they are boring, but I think they're quite {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. I want to be a street performer, too.

    The summer holiday is coming. Try to take some time off from school and have fun. Here are some ideas for planning your summer holiday.

    First of all, joining a club is a good idea! You can join a music club, a sports club or an art club, it's good for your future and the teachers in the club can give you some good advice (建议). You can also make some new friends.

    Doing something good for society (社会) is also great. There are many volunteer programs(志愿者项目) for you to choose, such as looking after the____①___or the young, cleaning the streets, planting trees or keeping the traffic(交通) in order. You know that students can also make the world better.

    Did you ever live with another family? You can join in a program___②____"Meeting a New Family" .Two families exchange their children for some time so that they can learn how to get on well with others.

Summer camps are still popular today. An English summer camp can be a good one. You can not only make friends but also learn English.

Mr. Wang is a teacher in our school. He teaches us English. He walks to work every day.
