    “Early to bed, early to rise.” makes a marl healthy, wealthy and wise. It's good for the body.

    This is an old saying. Have you heard of it before? It means that we must go to bed early at night and get up early in the morning. If we do, then we shall be healthy, we shall also be rich and clever.

    That is true. The body must have enough sleep to be healthy. Children of young age should have enough sleep, or they can't do their work very well. They will not be wise and they may not become wealthy!

    The body also needs exercise: walking, running, jumping, swimming, playing games and some other exercise. Exercise keeps the body strong. Exercise also helps the blood to move around inside the body. This is very important. Our blood takes food to all of our body. The head also needs blood. Exercise parts helps us to think better.

Do you know about the U．K.? London is the capital city. Its flag is red, white and blue.They speak English. Big Ben is very famous. Kings and queens live in palaces. I have an uncle. He lives in London.He says, "London is clean and beautiful."He is a teacher. He works from Monday to Friday.On Saturdays and Sundays, he likes to play football and go for a walk. I want to go to the U．K. Because I want to see Buckingham Palace.

    It's half past seven in the morning. Dick is still asleep. Mum wakes him up: "Dick, it's seven. Get up right now." Dick puts on his clothes and then comes into the living room. Mum says: "Dick, here's your breakfast. Dick answers: "Bread and eggs again! I don't like bread. And I don't want any breast. May I have an egg, please? Bye, Mum. I'm going to school." Dick runs to school. But there are no teachers or students in the school. "How silly I am! It's Saturday today."

    Spring is coming. The sun shines in the blue sky. Tim and his friends usually go out and enjoy spring. They go to a big park-on Sundays. Amy sits on the bench and listens to music. Sometimes she sings with the music. Mary reads a storybook on the swing(秋千). She likes reading very much. Peter and John go fishing near the lake. Peter is good at fishing. But John is learning how to fish. He likes eating fish, so he wants to catch many fish. Tim and Bob play chess under a tree. All the children have a good time.

    Sports are good for people's health(健康). Many people like sports.

Old people usually do exercises in the morning. Some like walking and dancing. Some like Taichi(太极拳).

    Students play different sports at school. They can join sports clubs. They can play with their classmates. They can play basketball, table tennis, badminton and volleyball. Sports can help students grow tall and strong.

    Many people play sports at weekends. They go to parks and gyms. But some people just run on a running machine(跑步机) at home.

    Ben is very happy today. He goes to the park at eight thirty. He plays football with friends at ten. At eleven forty-five, he goes to the restaurant with his parents. Ben goes to the movie theater at five o'clock, at six thirty, he goes home.
