The world is changing very fast. In the past，my grandparents lived in a small house. It was very old. They didn't have enough food or clothes. There was a small tree beside the house. There weren't any televisions or telephones. Now they live in a big and beautiful house. They've got lots of food and clothes. They watch TV every day. They can use the computer，too. They are very happy now.

    Nancy goes out after lunch. She comes in a shop. A salesman says to her, "Can I help you?"

    "Yes, please." says Nancy, "I want a hat."

    The salesman shows some hats to her. She feels warm in the shop and puts her hat on the counter (柜台). She thinks some of them are expensive. And she doesn't like the others' colours. She chooses and chooses. At last she sees a red hat and says, "Well, I'll take this one."

    "But, it's yours!" says the salesman.

    Cloud Mimi and Mr Train are good friends. They go everywhere together. Mimi always helps his friend on the right way.

    "Train, train. Where are you going?"

    "I'm going to the top of the mountain to see the maple leaves."

    "OK. I'll go with you."

    Mimi and Mr Train are enjoying the beautiful sight.

    "Train, train. Where are you going?"

    "I'm going to the seashore to see the waves."

    "OK. I'll go with you."

    "How wonderful!"

    "Train, train. Where are you going?"

    "I don't want to tell you. You always run faster than me. I'd like to go by myself."

    Then Mr Train sees the beautiful valley and the lovely flowers. Suddenly, He falls into a hole. He cries. He is sad. Mimi asks many clouds and the wind to help him. They pull Mr Train out.

    Mimi and Mr Train are traveling again. They know friends should help each other. Friends should be together everywhere.

    Two goats live on the left side of a river. One day they want to eat the grass on the right side. There is a bridge over the river. But on the bridge there is a lion. What should they do? They think of a plan.

    The first goat meets the lion. The lion shouts, "I'm going to eat you!" The first goat says, "Don't eat me, please. The second goat is bigger and younger than me." So the lion lets the first goat go.

    Then the second goat comes. The lion shouts, "I'm going to eat you!" The second goat says, "Don't eat me, please. The third goat is bigger and younger than me." So the lion lets the second goat go.

    The lion waits and waits, but there is not a third goat.

    I'm a twenty-year-old girl. I work in a small shop. It is near a school. Every day, a lot of people come to the shop to buy thing.

    I usually get up at five, have a breakfast at six and then go to work by bike. I get to the shop at about half past seven. At eight people begin to arrive. They buy meat, eggs, sugar, candy, cooking oil and many other things. We don't sell vegetables or fruit. There is a shop for those things nearby.

    I have lunch at half past eleven at noon. We close the shop at five in the afternoon. I tidy things up and then go home.

    Some people think my work isn't so interesting, but I enjoy it and feel happy every day.
