One morning，I was waiting at the bus stop，worried about{#blank#}1{#/blank#}  (be) late for school.

    Over the years I've been teaching kids about a simple but powerful concept—the ant philosophy, an{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (amaze) four-part philosophy.

    First, ants never quit. If they're heading somewhere and you try to stop them, they'll climb over. they'll climb under, or they'll climb around. They are always gathering in their winter food in the middle of summer and they are making{#blank#}4{#/blank#}. (prepare) for the long cold winter. Say thank you for simple things

Everyone feels really happy when others show their appreciation {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (generous). Appreciation always has {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(power) strength, which may let others smile and make the world more beautiful. For example, you just need several minutes to write down a thank-you note after you have a quarrel with one of your {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (colleague), and it will for sure bring much joy to the receiver. Try to write a thank-you letter to your parents for working hard to provide you {#blank#}5{#/blank#} a happy life. {#blank#}6{#/blank#} you always say thanks to your friends who shared both your happiness and sadness, it will bring them much joy and add color into your own life as well.

    We won't live happily {#blank#}7{#/blank#}we really enjoy the different services of others {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (surround) us everyday. But none of them should be taken for granted. We need to raise our{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(conscious) of expressing appreciation to others. Up to now more and more people in China have found it's high time to cultivate(培养) a thankful heart for the good others do.     I am now on my year abroad in Germany as part of my university course. At the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (begin) of my time here, I had the chance to meet so many new people and make lots of new friends. It is almost like {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (start) a new life and can make you feel nervous and lonely at first. But I knew that when I moved to Germany I had to be open and friendly.     Next week a friend of {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (I) is moving to Spain for the next part of her year abroad. She will be living near a beach and have a lot of fun.
