Last week I stayed at home alone for the first time. My parents had a long-time {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(讨论) about who would go to Beijing to take care of my {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(生病的) brother. Finally I asked them to go together and I'm sure I can take good care of myself at home. In the station I said goodbye to my parents. When the train went away I couldn't hold back my tears though there were so many {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(乘客).

    The first night wasn't easy. I {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(醒来) up at midnight. I stayed in the dark and {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(几乎) cried out again. But soon I calmed down and started to read the book beside my bed. I didn't fall asleep {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(直到) 2 o'clock.

    I got up early the next morning. I went to school after a {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (简单的) breakfast. I told my friend Lin Li my experience last night.  He encouraged me "Don't be afraid of that. We are teenagers. We should learn to look after {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（我们自己). "From then on I told myself to be brave. I spent happy days at school and after school I {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(关) the door when I got home and seldom watched TV or played computer games. I finished my homework carefully. On the {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(第九)day, my parents came back home- They were proud of me.
