    Here is another example: the schools have paid much attention to story-telling recently. Story-telling can make students become better at talking. Some students who were too shy to speak in public have been now very good speakers.

    Now many parents send their children to learn how to play the piano or the violin. But the money and energy they spend cannot {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (make)sure that their children will learn a lot on a short period of time. However, training children to tell a story is quite different.

    Although it {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (cost)little, it's a good and an easy way for children to develop.

    When someone says that he has a good memory, he really means that he keeps his memory in practice {#blank#}4{#/blank#} using it. When someone else says that his memory is poor, he really means that he does not give it enough chance {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (become) strong.

    If a friend says that his arms and legs are weak, we know that it is {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (he) own fault. {#blank#}7{#/blank#} if he tells us that he has a poor memory, many of us think that his parents should be responsible, and few of us know that it is just his own fault.

This is because they cannot read or write and they have to remember things; they cannot write them down in a little notebook. They have to remember days, names, songs and {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (story); so their memory is the whole time being exercised. So far a study has {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (show) that if you want to have a good memory, learn from the people: practice remembering.
