    Last Saturday I went to the library as usually. At about noon, I was enjoying my reading near a lake while suddenly I hear someone crying for help. I went up to see what was happened. I was shocking to find a little child struggling in the water in the distance while many peoples were standing by without doing anything. Without any hesitation, I had pushed through the crowd as I took off my coat, but jumped into the water quickly. I managed to reach him and carried him back to safety. To his great relief, the kid was saved.

    I am proud what I did. I hope everyone can give a hand when someone else is in need.

    Last week, our teacher offered us an answer to a difficulty maths problem in class. Though an answer seemed a little strange, but nobody doubted it except me. Thinking that his answer might wrong, I carefully studied the problem and tried to work them out in a different way. Half an hour late, I managed to find the correct answer. When I show my answer to him, my teacher praised me of my independent thinking.

    From this experiences I have learnt that questioning can serve as a bridge that help us to find the truth.

    Before Christmas our school hold a winter sports meeting. As it was the last one at school; we did what we could perform well in an opening ceremony. Greatly to our happiness, our show was very much successful. My classmates took part in various events, or our head teacher even joined us in the relay race. Except Wang Lin; several other athletes also ranked Top 5. Some brought cameras to record the excited moments. It was quite a wonderful experience and that we obtained was great fun. Those out-of-class activity in deed helped us relieve the pressure from learning, and promoted us enthusiasm for future study.

    Nowadays, it is fashionable for young student to use iPads. With an iPad, we can listen to music and download much learning material to read. Obviously, it's of great benefit to their studies, especially to improve our English listening skills. Some students, however, bring their iPads to the classroom to listen to music with earphones, but some even play video games, which make teachers and students very annoyed. In my opinion, the classroom was a place to study and concentration is great needed. Therefore, we should make a good use of iPads and other modern communication tools to help with our lessons. Meanwhile, which schools should do is make some rules help the students use iPads properly.

    Li Ming is a friend of mine. I'm glad he changed greatly in the past two years. I clearly remember he was quite fat two years before. He got tired so easy that he couldn't take exercise, that made him very upset. Later, he realized unless he went on like that, he would end up achieve nothing. So, he made up his minds to make a change. He went running every morning and played the basketball every afternoon. Besides, he followed a diet of more vegetables or less meat. Gradually he began to lose weight. He is now an energetic boy in good health. So when faced with problems, we should overcome it with great determination and strong willpower.
