We high school students do have some growing pains，but we can get rid of them correctly and wisely. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}，some of us are upset {#blank#}2{#/blank#} our body styles and looks. It's unnecessary and it's not important at all.We needn't care about it.It is one's inner beauty {#blank#}3{#/blank#} matters. Second，we sometimes seem to be misunderstood {#blank#}4{#/blank#} our teachers，parents and classmates.{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (face) with this，we can find a proper time to have a heart-to-heart talk with them，trying to remove the {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (understand)．Some of us have fewer friends.I think being open-minded and friendly will do us good. Third，we may fall behind others,{#blank#}7{#/blank#} makes us stressed. Actually we can encourage {#blank#}8{#/blank#} to work efficiently，full of {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (determine)． At last，some of us don't have much pocket money，so we feel unhappy. Isn't it strange? So long as we have some，that's enough. And we can learn {#blank#}10{#/blank#} to spend money.

    It was a short flight from Shanghai to Xi' an. Xi' an is one of the four great ancient capitals of China{#blank#}1{#/blank#}over 3,100 years of history. Its ancient walls date from the Ming Dynasty and are the best {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (preserve) in the world. There are bicycles for people to hire. It is {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(amaze) to ride along the walls to survey this fascinating city.

    The Tang Dynasty Music and Dance show is not to be missed, but my favorite is an art gallery, {#blank#}4{#/blank#}we can enjoy some beautiful artwork and learn how to write Chinese characters.

    Most tourists make{#blank#}5{#/blank#}way to Xi' an to see the life-size terracotta warriors (兵马俑) and we were no  {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(difference). The collection, which shows the armies of the first Emperor of China, {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(remain) hidden until 1974 when they were discovered by a farmer sinking a well. Walking among the statues is forbidden unless you are a VIP — but there are plenty of souvenir{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(shop) in which tourists can buy the replicas(复制品)of them.

    All too soon it was time{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(leave). I really enjoyed my stay in Xi' an. It is indeed a place of interest worth{#blank#}10{#/blank#}second visit.

    I went backpacking through Italy many {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (summer) ago. There I had the opportunity to taste some of the best cherries in my life. I remember {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (ask) the fruit farmer, “ {#blank#}3{#/blank#}are these cherries from?” And she said they were from an orchard (果园) only twelve miles away. So I {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(jump) in my car and hit the road. At the orchard, and old man named Leopoldo, whose face was  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(beautiful) lined, told the beautiful story of a beautiful life well lived. He offered me all kinds  {#blank#}6{#/blank#}cherries from the orchard and they were {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (amaze). And that's when I realized something: the world is inspiring. The fruit is inspiring, if you let {#blank#}8{#/blank#} be. As the sun began to set, I said goodbye to Leopoldo {#blank#}9{#/blank#}his lovely family. My mind {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(fill) with berries then, and I was thinking about being a fruit farmer on my way home.

    One morning, I was waiting at the bus stop, worried about {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(be) late for school. There were many people waiting at the bus stop, {#blank#}2{#/blank#}some of them looked very anxious and {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(disappoint). When the bus finally came, we all hurried on board. I got a place next {#blank#}4{#/blank#}the window, so I had a good view of the sidewalk. A boy on a bike {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(catch) my attention. He was riding beside the bus and waving his arms. I heard a passenger behind me shouting to the driver, but he refused {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(stop) until we reached the next stop. Still, the boy kept {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(ride). He was carrying something over his shoulder and shouting. Finally, when we came to the next stop, the boy ran up to the door of the bus. I heard an excited conversation. Then the driver stood up and asked," {#blank#}8{#/blank#}anyone lose a suitcase at the last stop?" A woman on the bus shouted, "Oh dear! It's {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(I)." She pushed her way to the driver and took the suitcase thankfully. Everyone on the bus began talking about what the boy had done, and the crowd of strangers {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(sudden) became friendly to one another.
