Many people believe that, by the year 2100, we will live on the planet Mars(火星). Here is what life could be like.
    First of all, transport should be much better. By 2100, spaceship can travel at half the speed of light. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}
    Secondly, humans need food, water and air to live. Scientists should be able to find plants that can grow on Mars. These plants will provide us with food and air.
{#blank#}2{#/blank#} We could easily jump too high and fly slowly away into space. To prevent this, humans on Mars have to wear special shoes to make themselves heavier.
    Life on Mars will be better in many ways. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} It is possible to live in a large building with many bedrooms. Then, robot will do most of the work, so we have more time for hobbies.
{#blank#}4{#/blank#} Every student can study, do their homework on the computer and take exams in online schools. Each student will also have their own online teacher called “e-teacher”.
    However, in some ways, life on Mars may not be better than that on the earth today.  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} Meals will probably be in the shape of pills(药片) and will not be as delicious as they are today. Also, space travel will make many people feel ill.

      Probably you have seen someone reading a book on an electronic reading device. Over the past few years, these small computers have become more popular. For that reason, more companies that make  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}   paper books are now making electronic books (ebooks). Most ebooks are the same as paper books,   {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  people download a file into a reading device rather than   {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  the paper book. This way they can  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}   many books.
      Books companies are adding special features   {#blank#}5{#/blank#}   some ebooks. These extra features might include sound files, picture files, or video files. When the readers click on these files they learn more about the book, the story, or the writer.
    The latest electronic readers are smaller and   {#blank#}6{#/blank#} , but they are also much more powerful. They can store much more information, so writers and book companies can do more with   {#blank#}7{#/blank#}   ebooks. They do not want to just add files to   {#blank#}8{#/blank#}   completed book. They are making the sound, picture, and video files part of the story. Readers need these files to understand the whole story. Readers can {#blank#}9{#/blank#} change the story.
    Readers already have a lot of books to choose from. If they can change the way stories end, they will have more {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  !

I am a student of a secondary school. Our school life is very i{#blank#}1{#/blank#}! My friends and I s{#blank#}2{#/blank#} hard at school. And we are good at lessons.     What will happen if a family without the Internet for a month? One American family decides to find out. They have sent invitation to a leading US television station, expecting that it will send a film group to record their day-to -day life {#blank#}1{#/blank#} technology for a month.

    When the film group meet {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Smiths, they find that Mr. Smith, Mrs. Smith and their two sons are so crazy about technology that {#blank#}3{#/blank#} hardly do things together.     Getting back to the normal life without the Internet is not {#blank#}6{#/blank#}, especially when the Smiths lose themselves in it. They have to make many {#blank#}7{#/blank#}. For example, the two brothers have to go to the school {#blank#}8{#/blank#} to borrow books for their scientific projects, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith need to go out shopping because they cannot buy things {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. As the family have picked up the new lifestyle, they find that they can spend more time talking over meals, playing sports and doing all {#blank#}10{#/blank#} of activities together.

    Would they be able to go for long without using the Internet after the challenge?
