Hello, I'm Dave. I'm from the UK. I live in Beijing with my parents now. Let me tell you some‐thing 1 my life here.

I usually have 2 at home in the morning. After that, I go to school with my friend, Hu Lei. He's a good boy. He's very 3 to me. I have lunch at school. I often have jiaozi 4 lunch. I like5 food very much like Sichuan food, Guangdong food and Hunan food. Sometimes（有时）I 6 with my parents. There's a big 7 next to my home. Guangdong food there is very nice. We often go there. Sometimes Hu Lei asks 8 to his home for dinner. His mother 9 very well. I like the food she cooks.

I'm very 10 to live in Beijing. There is good food and there are good friends. I like Chinese food, and I like China.

I'm from a small town. It lies in(位于) the east of Zhejiang Province near the East Sea. You can't see it on the map of China because it is too small. There are not many tall buildings in the town. The tallest building is the primary school. 

The population of the town is fifty thousand. The East Sea is to the east of the town. To the south is the flat land. Some low hills are near the town. And a river runs through the town. 

The weather here is comfortable. It's not too cold in winter or too hot in summer. There is a big garden in the town. We can hear birds singing everywhere in the garden. And there are many kinds of fishes in the town. The fishermen(渔民) in my home town are all living a happy life. 

I love my home town and I hope it will become better and better!

Jay and Joan like to spend the winter holiday with their mum and dad. This morning they were all going sledding (滑雪橇).There was a heavy snow last night. The hill at the park was great for sledding. Jay and Joan asked their parents to take them out .Their parents agreed(同意).

They all put on warm clothes and boots (靴子).They brought hot drinks，put the sleds in the car and drove to the park.

Jay and his dad went down the hill on one sled. Joan and her mum went down on the other sled .They went fast. The snow flew on their faces. They should and laughed. Sledding was fun.

After playing for two hours，they took a short break. They wanted to have a hot drink to get out of the cold，so they went into a warm house. They talked about their fun day there.

Soon it was time to go back home. Jay and Joan were very happy today.

Many years ago, Miss C sat on a chair while my classmates and I sat on the carpet. We learned about the letters. Now. Miss C and I sit on the chairs in her house, and we talk for hours. I listen carefully {#blank#}8{#/blank#}I know I still have more to learn from her.

It's amazing to meet a teacher{#blank#}9{#/blank#}can both teach you knowledge and support you in your life.{#blank#}10{#/blank#} lucky I am! Our friendship is one that neither of us expected.

Asha looked out of the window on the plane. What a1 ! The buildings were so tall. The city was large, much larger than her small town.

15 Asha saw the Statue of Liberty! The plane flew around it, and then began to slow down. Soon Asha was on the ground, getting ready to leave the plane to meet her future.
