The location: from the east to the west in the north of China

The history: a history of over 2000 years

     Qin Shihuang joined them together and made it {#blank#}2{#/blank#}.

     Many dynasties {#blank#}3{#/blank#} old walls and built new walls.

     The most well-known of the walls were built during the Ming dynasty.

The materials: stones, bricks(砖), {#blank#}4{#/blank#} and others

Functions: It was used to keep the enemies away. But now it is one of the most famous {#blank#}5{#/blank#} in the world.
