Tu Yoyo, an 84-year-old female scientist, is now  (广泛地) known to the people all around the world as the(第一) Chinese to win the Noble Prize in the year of 2015.

    Yoyo was (出生的) on December 30, 1930 in Ningbo, China. She started to be interested in Chinese(传统的) medicine when she was only a little girl. She even spent all her(私人的) time reading books on it. In 1951, She went to study in Beijing University where she took up researches on how to treat Malaria(疟疾). Finally, she succeed in (发现) artemisinin(青蒿素) as the most effective treatment.

    When (采访), Yoyo said slowly: I have met many difficulties that I don't know how to (处理) with, but I just fight on and never give up. The road to(成功)is not easy, It (需要) talents and hard work. Thanks to all the people around me!”
