Years ago, I lived in a house in a large city.  The house next door was only a few meters away from {#blank#}1{#/blank#} .  Through the window, I could often see a woman who I {#blank#}2{#/blank#} never met doing some reading in the house every afternoon.
    Several months went by, I began to notice that her window was dirty.  Everything was not very clear {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  the dirty window.  I wondered {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  the woman didn't wash her window, it really looked terrible.
    One bright morning, I decided to clean my house, {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  washing the window inside.   Late in the afternoon when 1 finished all the cleaning, I sat down by the window with a cup of coffee for a rest.  How surprising! I found that the{#blank#}6{#/blank#}  window was actually so clean that she could be {#blank#}7{#/blank#} clearly sitting by the window. That was quite an important lesson for me.  How often had I looked at  {#blank#}8{#/blank#}    through my own shortcomings  (缺点) !
    Since then, I have been used to {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  myself whether I am looking through my own dirty window.  Before I want to judge someone, I always think more than before and try to clean the dirty window so that I may see the world around me more {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  .

    Long long ago，there was a prince．There was a big tree in his garden(花园)．Many animals lived in the tree．Every morning when the{#blank#}1{#/blank#}woke up，he heard these animals'nice {#blank#}2{#/blank#}．Every evening he sat on the{#blank#}3{#/blank#}under the tree to enjoy his mom's stories．

    Slowly, the prince grew up．He got {#blank#}4{#/blank#},and had some children．But he began to hate the tree，for it became old and dry．One day he asked some people to cut the tree down．

After the tree was cut down, the animals left．The prince was sad．He wanted to know where the animals {#blank#}5{#/blank#}．He asked many people but {#blank#}6{#/blank#}knew．He thought these people  were  very {#blank#}7{#/blank#}．And he was angry with them．He decided to kill them．Luckily ,a {#blank#}8{#/blank#}boy stopped him and explained that it was because of the tree that those animals went away．The boy advised the prince to plant more trees so that more animals would come．

    Lots of parents now buy everything that their children want to have. If they carry on with this habit, their children won't learn that money {#blank#}1{#/blank#} from hard work.

    Some parents like to {#blank#}2{#/blank#} birthday parties for their children. If they keep on doing this, their children will think it's {#blank#}3{#/blank#} to have a birthday party every year. Year after year, maybe they will forget {#blank#}4{#/blank#} birthdays and only remember their own. It is against traditional habits.

    Many parents don't let their children do {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. They think children only have one thing to do. They should study hard and do {#blank#}6{#/blank#} in their lessons. {#blank#}7{#/blank#} parents go on doing this, the children will only learn to open their mouth to be fed, and stretch out(伸出) their arms to be dressed every day. When the children grow up, they will be able to do {#blank#}8{#/blank#}, and they won't even find a job. Parents should teach the children {#blank#}9{#/blank#} to do housework because it can help them learn good habits, such as {#blank#}10{#/blank#} by themselves.

    I lived a quiet life with my mom, dad and two sisters But one day my dad told me something and my life started to be different -- We would move to a new town. I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} for months about starting a new school.

    On the first day of school, I walked into my new classroom and {#blank#}2{#/blank#} very hard not to look scared. But it wasn't {#blank#}3{#/blank#} when twenty-eight students looked at me. They all looked so cool. Mr. Bernstein introduced (把……介绍给) me to the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} and asked me to sit in the back of the room, next to another .girl. Her name was Janet. "What is she like? Does she like sitting with me?" I{#blank#}5{#/blank#}

    After class, it was lunchtime. I walked to the dining hall with Janet. We sat at the {#blank#}6{#/blank#} table. We ate and asked each other questions. Sisters? We both (两个都) had two, and we were both the youngest (最年轻的) in the {#blank#}7{#/blank#} Home? We lived quite near. It was only fifteen minutes' walk from her home to {#blank#}8{#/blank#}. We had more smiles (微笑) on our faces when we got to {#blank#}9{#/blank#} more about each other.

    At the end of the day, my morn asked me {#blank#}10{#/blank#} it was going at school. "I can't wait for the second day to come," I said. I knew it would be a good year for me.
