A father and his daughter were flying a kite in the park. When they stopped, the young daughter saw an old man {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (sell) apples. She asked her father to buy her an apple. Her father didn't bring much money {#blank#}2{#/blank#} him, but it was enough to buy two apples. So, he bought two apples and gave them to his{#blank#}3{#/blank#}.

    The father was {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (surprise). He wondered why his daughter did like that. He thought maybe his daughter was too young to understand about {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (share) and giving. A smile disappeared from his face.

    But suddenly his daughter with an {#blank#}9{#/blank#} in her left hand said, "Dad, please have this one. This one is much {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (sweet). "The father's smile came back after knowing why his daughter quickly took a bite from each apple.

    Don't judge anything too quickly. Always spare some more time to understand things better.

    Mr. Brown had an umbrella shop in a small town. People sometimes brought him broken {#blank#}1{#/blank#} and then he took them to a big shop in London. They were {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (fix) there. One day Mr. Brown went to London by train. He {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (forget) to take an umbrella with him that day. When the train arrived in London, Mr. Brown picked up the umbrella as he often {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (do) during his journey by train. Mr. Brown's face turned red and he {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (give) it back to the man at once. When Mr. Brown got to the big shop, the shopkeeper had got his six umbrellas ready. After a good look at all of them, he said, "You've mended them very well." In the afternoon he got on the train again. The {#blank#}9{#/blank#} man was in the same seat. He looked at Mr. Brown and his six umbrellas. "You've had a {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (luck) day," he said.
