A poor farmer had a friend {#blank#}1{#/blank#}was famous for the wonderful apple tree he grew.    

    One day, his friend {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(give) the farmer a young apple tree and told him to plant it. The farmer was pleased with the gift, but he did not know where{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(plant) it.    

    He was afraid that if he planted the tree near the road, strangers would steal the fruit. If he planted the tree in one {#blank#}4{#/blank#}his fields, his neighbors would come at night and steal some of the apples. If he planted the tree near his house, his children would take the fruit.{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(final) he planted the tree in his wood. On weekdays they have lunch at school, but on Saturdays and{#blank#}4{#/blank#}, they have lunch at home with{#blank#}5{#/blank#}father and mother. The family usually have noodles, eggs and milk{#blank#}6{#/blank#}breakfast, because Mrs Smith think these food is healthy. Sam and Mary like sweet food. They want to have candy and chocolate every day, but too{#blank#}7{#/blank#}candy and chocolate isn't good for them. Mr Smith comes home at five and Mrs Smith makes supper at six.
