    My best friend and I walked to an ice cream shop today. I brought my water bottle out of habit and commented to her that I had no idea why I brought it. We kept {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(go) though. On our way, a man asked {#blank#}2{#/blank#}either of us had money for water, or a drink or something. He was sitting on the ground at the time with a sign he stopped holding up.

On the return back from the ice cream store, I tried to get water to go, in case he {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(may) be still there. They only had mineral water and coconut water there, something he probably disliked. It turned out he was no longer there, though.

    My friend and I talked about keeping water{#blank#}7{#/blank#} (bottle) on hand in our vehicles and socks with added positive statement notes.     The 7th CISM Military World Games(世界军运会)will take place from Oct. 18 {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Oct. 27，2019 in Wuhan, capital city of {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(centre)China's Hubei Province.

    The games，the top sports gala for military personnel(军人), include 329 competition events of 27 kinds , {#blank#}3{#/blank#} are expected to attract around 8000 players from more than 100 {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (country)and regions.

    The games will be an international event with great importance and far-reaching influence and it will also be {#blank#}5{#/blank#} opportunity for foreign military personnel {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(learn) more about China and its military.

    The event's emblem(会徽)is made up of a dove, a star, ribbons and other elements and the mascot is called Bing Bing, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} design is based on the Chinese sturgeon(鲟), a {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (serious)endangered fish known as the "panda in water". The slogan is "Military glory，world peace".

    Today I will introduce some new teachers in our class. Mrs. Li is my English teacher. My first {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(impress) of her was that she was nervous and shy.     They struggle with schoolwork. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (face) with problems in relationships with others, they don't know what to do if a younger brother or sister is born into the family.

    But this five-episode series, which was aired on CCTV9 from Aug 20, is different {#blank#}3{#/blank#} other TV programs with a similar theme.

    As US writer Ernest Hemingway once wrote, "Any man's life, told truly, is a novel." And when it comes to Post-00s, it's also such a good documentary {#blank#}10{#/blank#} is worth watching.
