A superhero is a fictional character with special powers. Since the first superman story was written in the USA in 1938, superheroes{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(appear) in various comic books around the world. But more recently they have become better known {#blank#}2{#/blank#}film characters.

    Although superhero powers vary{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(wide), superman strength and the ability to fly are common. Some superheroes do not have special powers {#blank#}4{#/blank#} have developed some other important abilities.{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (protect) friends and family, a superhero's identity is normally kept secret, which often {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(mean) superheroes have {#blank#}7{#/blank#}complicated double life.

    There have been{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(success) superheroes in countries other than the USA. Examples include Cybersix from Argentina and the heroes of AK Comics from Egypt. Japan is the only country{#blank#}9{#/blank#}has many superhero characters as the USA. However, most Japanese superheroes are short-lived. While American entertainment companies reinvent superheroes,{#blank#}10{#/blank#} (hope) they will stay popular, Japanese companies frequently introduce new characters.

    During a recent Senior Three English lesson, the teacher {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(notice)Xiao Ming, a student, busily typing messages on her cellphone. To the teacher's surprise, Xiao Ming wasn't just texting her friends the latest small talk.     A supporter and classmate of Xiao Ming said, “We love her blog！ We all read it each day and can't wait to see what she writes about next. Many of her {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(suggest)on study really help to encourage us. And we can relax {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(we)while reading her blog.” Another student blogger admitted that he often works late into the night,{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(write)his blog. He said, “Sometimes I don't even have time {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(finish)my homework. I can't help myself. I really have a lot to say.”

    The music industry is never short of teen pop stars with wonderful looks, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} it doesn't often find one like US singer Taylor Swift.
