      Now,1 will dig deeper into the concept of software".Everyone is talking about culture shock nowa-days, but you may wonder what itactually {#blank#}4{#/blank#}_(mean). Simplyput:  culture shock is the diffi-cultypeople may experience when being exposed and adjusting to a {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (remarkable) different new culture. Usually, people often go._{#blank#}6{#/blank#} four distinct phases: the honeymoon phase, thene-gotiation phase, the adjustment phase and the mastery phase. Culture shock can happen immediately upon your {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(arrive) in the country.

For international students, perhaps the most direct impact of culture shock is the variety of accents, especially in multicultural countries {#blank#}8{#/blank#}the U.S. Canada or Australia.There are two main reasons: Firstly, these countries have highly diversifiedgroups of residents from different cultural{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(background). Secondly,  there are many international students fromall around the world every year studying in these countries, so you shouldn'tbe surprised {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(find) allkinds of unfamiliar accents around the university campus.

    This weekend I was delighted to show my parents around Seville, as they {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(come) for a short but sweet visit. Although the weather wasn't the best, we still made {#blank#}2{#/blank#} best of our time together.

    Being reunited with the people you love in a new place {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(bring) excitement. Showing them around the new city makes you{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (extraordinary) happy. For example, as Seville is known for flamenco (弗拉门科舞), I took them to see a famous {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(perform) my friends recommended to me, which gave us such a wonderful visual feast. Furthermore, getting to show your visitors the places {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (appeal) to you is a pleasant feeling, because you are eager to let them know where you love to spend your time. You are letting them get involved{#blank#}7{#/blank#} your new life. Also you have the opportunity{#blank#}8{#/blank#} (show) your beloved ones the new places that they may fall in love with.

    So, after a two-day trip, I feel pleased to have had the time to explore those {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(attraction) with my parents. I am already looking forward to their next visit {#blank#}10{#/blank#}I can show them more of what Seville offers and what I am still yet to discover.

    No one knows exactly {#blank#}1{#/blank#} the earth began. However, according to a widely accepted theory, the universe began {#blank#}2{#/blank#} a "Big Bang". Reptiles {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(produce) young generally by laying eggs while mammals gave birth to young baby animals. Dinosaurs existed on the earth for over 140 million years before they suddenly disappeared. The reason {#blank#}8{#/blank#} they disappeared still remains a mystery.

    Finally, humans appeared and spread all over the earth. But they are putting too much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, which prevents heat from {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(escape) from the earth into space. As a result of this, people believe the earth may become too hot to live on. So {#blank#}10{#/blank#} life will continue on the earth will depend on how this problem can be solved.
