    It's not the people you came across in your daily life who will stand by you in time of a need. It's your family who will but it's important to know that. It happens such often that we end up take our parents for granted. We hurt them many cases and they are treated with disrespect for not understanding them. It's necessary to understand the fact that there is always different in opinions across two generations. But what really matters is the unconditionally love and care that they hold for us, that I believe is truly valuable.

    I didn't realize the importance of working in groups since I was chosen monitor of my class in high school. At first, I did most of duties myself while other students cared few about class activities. As a result, I was tired out and depressing. Then I turned to my teacher and he gave me some advice of how to cooperate well with other. Thus I begin to realize the strengths of my classmates and have everyone to do his part in class.

    From my experience, I strong feel that it is working in teams instead of on my own that has freed me from trouble and make me work more efficiently. Therefore, we need the teamwork spirit in our lives.

    Last Monday, our class hold a speech contest on the theme of thankfulness. Both of us took an active part in it because we were interesting in it. In beginning, our teacher made a speech, appeal to us to be thankful. After that, many participants impressed us on their wonderful performances. They expressed their love and appreciations to their parents, teachers and people who loved them.

    I learned a lot of from this activity. There are many people around us who have helped us great. We should be grateful to them in return for which they have done for us.

    Smoking is widespread habit even among teenage students. The number of young smokers are increasing. It is estimated that over 10% of the senior high school students have tried smoking once or more and some of them even steal money from their parent to buy cigarettes, that is terrible.

    As it is known to all, smoking is harmful for health. And it's even more harmful to teenage students for it does greatly harm not only to their health but also to their mind.

    Teenage students are future builders of the country. They should spend their time learn what is useful but keep a healthy lifestyle as well. So it's high time that teenage smokers make up their minds to give up smoking.

    I was playing at my cousin house. Since his family was rich than mine, he had more toys than I did. There was a toy what I'd always wanted on particular.
