Confucius was born into a middle class family in Lu State, an area with the modern city of Qufu, in China's Shandong Province. Now, he {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (remember) for his teachings, which, along with the works of his students，formed the rule of Confucianism (儒学) many {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (year) after his passing away.

Confucius also lived {#blank#}3{#/blank#} active political life. From his job as Minister of Crime, he took part in a campaign (运动) to distance Lu from the rule of the state instead of {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (work) for the central government. However, the plan failed. After a short period of being sent to live in another country, Confucius could finally return to Lu state {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (spend) the rest of his life as a teacher of philosophy.

Even up to the time of Confucius's {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (die), his teachings were not {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (wide) accepted in China, and most of {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (they) were lost when the emperor Qin ordered the burning of Confucius's books.

Yet, his philosophical (哲学的) ideas survived during the later Han Dynasty. Emperor Han Wudi,{#blank#}9{#/blank#} was inspired by the social and political wisdom of Confucius, accepted Confucianism and applied his systems of morality everywhere from classrooms {#blank#}10{#/blank#} law courts. The teachings of Confucius still spread far across China and the Far East.

Born in 1958, in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Huang Danian had an interest in geophysics from {#blank#}1{#/blank#}early age. He devoted his life to science, making many sacrifices(牺牲) along the way and{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(final) went to the United Kingdom for further study in 1993.

In 2008,{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(drive) by the idea that he needed to contribute{#blank#}4{#/blank#}his country, he gave up a good job and a life there and returned home. Huang{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(invite) to be the chief scientist of China's {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(big)deep-Earth exploration programme at Jilin University in Changchun, in northeast China. The programme aimed to install (安装) high-tech {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(camera) on aircraft, ships and satellites, {#blank#}8{#/blank#}would enable scientists to see through the Earth's crust(地壳). His efforts soon{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(pay) off. China narrowed the gap with the developed countries in obtaining accurate data on deep-Earth exploration. Thanks to a number of devoted scientists, such as Huang. (China is now becoming a leading power in this technology.）

Huang died at the age of 58. A bright star in the world of science had fallen, {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(leave) the scientific community in grief.

China Mobile, the world's largest telecom carrier by mobile subscribers, has successfully launched the world's first satellite {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (test) 6G architecture, marking a milestone in its efforts to explore integrated space and ground communication technology.

The low-earth orbit test satellite is {#blank#}2{#/blank#} world's first to employ 6G design architecture, and it{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (launch) on Saturday along with another satellite that comes with China Mobile's 5G technology.

The 6G test satellite hosts a distributed autonomous architecture for 6G, {#blank#}4{#/blank#} was jointly developed by China Mobile and the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Innovation Academy for Microsatellites. The system, using domestic software and hardware, supports in-orbit software reconstruction, flexible deployment of core network functions and automated management,{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (enhance) the efficiency and reliability of the in-orbit operation of the satellite core network, China Mobile said.

Set at an orbit {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (high) of approximately 500 kilometers, these {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (experiment) satellites offer advantages such as low latency(延迟) and high data transfer rates {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (compare) with high-orbit satellites which travel at 36,000 kilometers.
