I was 18 years old when I lost my father in a car accident in July, 2000.At the end of that summer, I had planned to take an {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(importance)exam to the engineering school. I wanted {#blank#}2{#/blank#} study engineering so much and I was very good {#blank#}3{#/blank#}Maths. My best friend Rob was also going to take the same exam in September. We'd like to imagine that {#blank#}4{#/blank#} we both became engineers, and that we could do many projects together. We knew that the whole world was {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(wait) for us. But that was before my father died. Rob called me from time to time to encourage me to study. I had always said "yes", but deep down in my heart. I knew I stopped {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(believe)in myself. On the day of the exam, I didn't attend the exam.

    But later, I regretted(后悔).I thought no one would care about me after my father died. But at least there was still one person：{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(I).I shouldn't have let the chance pass by. I should have tried. I could not change my father's {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(die), but I could change my attitude. Losing a chance without trying is {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(bad)than losing a loved one.

    Since then, I've grasped each chance to everything that I have, and I {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(get)my master degree in engineering in 2008.

    Susan is a great girl. At school she always follows the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (rule). She always arrives at school on time. And she always {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (wear) her uniform to school. At school she never fights {#blank#}3{#/blank#} her classmates. In the classroom, in the dining hall or in the library she always keeps quiet.
