Having a good teacher do mean a lot to us students and I am lucky enough to have the one —Miss Brown, my English teacher.

Dear Sir,

    Thank you for invite me to the summer English course in your school. As for your choice between the two courses, I prefer the four-week course because of this will allow me more time to do some traveling but make a few new friends. Of all the subject I'm learning at school, I like English better. I had been learning English for eleven years but my spoken English remains poorly. So I really hope to take this chance to improve it. If possible, I'd like to stay with a family for a couple of days in order that I can know some customs in England, what I'm particularly interested in.     Garbage is a seriously problem in my town. We throw away from too much paper and too many soda sans, and there isn't enough space to put it in. This is a small town and we have too few land for more garbage dumps (垃圾场). Many people throwing their garbage everywhere, and they don't think about the pollution this cause. So I think we need a better recycling system. Now, there are too few recycling station so It isn't convenient to us to use them. If more and more people are able to recycling their waste, our town become clean and attractive.

    My senior high school life is almost over. Although looked forward to entering college, I can't help missing those good old days very much that I feel sad. I'm unwilling to say goodbye to everyone and everything I am familiar. However, I come to realize nature never stood still. Different seasons come and go. Plants and animals die and new one come to life. We, like everything in nature, has to adapt to the changes. Before knowing it, I am a kind of calm. Now I'd like to recall the most wonderful things what have happened, and accept happy whatever is to happen.
