    With the improvement of people's living standards, more and more people possess their own car. Some thought it is good to own a car. First, it's an convenient, fast and comfortable means of transportation, that saves people much time on the trip. It also makes businesses and industries to develop faster.

    However, others have different opinions, thinking that cars give waste gases and pollute the environment around. Have too many cars will have some bad effects, such as more accidents and crowdedness. Besides, lacking parking lots are another big problem.

    How are you? Today I've got a wonderful news to tell you. I have offered a scholarship at a university in Australia for my further education.     In my view, the Internet is helpful. It is known to all, the Internet is playing important part in our daily life. On the Internet, we can read news home and abroad and got as much informations as we can. We can also attend to the net school and read many books. We can even do shopping online.     There was an art festival in our school last weekend. It had been held for five years and our headmaster plan to make it a feature of our school. I was so excited, for it was first time for me to join in.

    Early in the morning, there were such many people coming to our school, made it so lively. The students gave a warm welcome to the guest. I walked around or appreciated the paintings. All the works were from the students and I was so impressing by them. There were also some handcrafts, that were so creative.     I went to my friend Jema's house yesterday. I often visited her on the weekend. Sometimes we swim in the pool or play the tennis together.     It was extreme cold last Monday morning. While I was walking on my way to school, I noticed two street cleaner sweeping the street. Seeing them work so hard on such a cold morning, I was moved and made up my mind do something for them. After arriving at school, I discussed with some classmates that we could do. The next day, they got up early and prepared porridge (粥) at home.
