    “What's wrong with that?” Ed asked. “Fresh meat is the best.”

    The first robots were invented in the1920s. Since then robots {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (appear) in many American films. In some films, they are stronger, faster and cleverer {#blank#}2{#/blank#} people.

    In real life, robots are {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (main) used in factories. They do some dangerous and difficult jobs for humans.

    Robots also help disabled(残疾的) people, for example, blind people. Today many blind people have a guide dog {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (help) them. In the future, guide dogs might be robot dog.

    One kind of robot guide dog has {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (wheel). It moves in front of the owner. It is very clever. It knows the speed of its owner's walk. The owner {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (wear) a special belt(带子). This belt sends instructions {#blank#}7{#/blank#} the owner from the dog, such as "Stop here", "Turn left" or "Turn right".

    In the United States, another kind of robot helps disabled people to take care of {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (them) in their daily life. The robot hears the sound of its owner's voice. It follows instructions such as "Turn the page" or "Make a cup of coffee".

    Robots are also used in American hospitals. They can do simple jobs. At one hospital, for example, a robot takes meals from the kitchen to patient's rooms. It {#blank#}9{#/blank#} gets lost because this robot has a map of the hospital in its computer memory.

     {#blank#}10{#/blank#} robots can help people in many ways, they will never take the place of humans.

    How much do you know about elephants? The elephant is one of Thailand's symbols. Their {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (one) flag had a white elephant on it. This is a symbol of good luck.

    Elephants are smart {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. They can play soccer or music. They can also draw very {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (good). People say that "{#blank#}4{#/blank#} elephant never forgets". Elephants can walk for a long time and never get {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. They can also remember places {#blank#}6{#/blank#} food and water. This helps them to live.

    But elephants are in great danger. People cut down many trees {#blank#}7{#/blank#} elephants are losing their homes. People also kill elephants for {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (they) ivory. Today there {#blank#}9{#/blank#} only about 3, 000 elephants (over 100, 000 before). We must {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (save) the elephants and not buy things made of ivory. Remember that March 13^th is Thai Elephant Day.
