Four Seasons

    Spring is the best season of the year. It lasts from March to May. The days get longer. The nights get shorter, and the weather gets warmer. Everything begins to grow. Grass and trees begin to turn green. Flowers begin to come out. Children begin to flykites outdoors.

    Summer comes after spring.  It is the hottest season in theyear. It lasts from June to August. People try to find a cool place then. They always go swimming in pools, lakes, and rivers.

    Autumn is the harvest season. It gets cool. Farmers begin to reap (收割).They are busy from September to November.

    The coldest season ofthe year is winter. It's from December to February. The days are short and thenights are long. It snows sometimes and that makes the children happy. They make a snowman and dance around it. They go ice-skating as well.

Jim: Excuse me! Where is the hospital?

Sue: It's near the park.

Jim: How can I get to the park?

Sue: It's near. You can get there on foot. Go down this street and turn right at the traffic lights. You can see a bank.The park is beside the bank. Across the road, there is the hospital.

Jim: Thank you!

Sue: My pleasure!

    This is my school day . I get up at 6:00 in the morning . I have breakfast at 7:00 . I go to school at 7:45 . Now it's 8:00 . It's time for class . I have Maths class at 9:00 every day . Mr Li is my Maths teacher . I like him very much . I have PE class at 4:00. I clean the classroom at 5:20 . I go home at 5:40 . I go to bed at 9:00 .

    I have a beautiful farm. There are some animals on the farm. Look! The sky is blue. The cloud is white. The trees are green. The house is red. The goat is white. The hen and chicks are yellow. The duck is yellow too. The cat is black.

    Hello! Welcome to my home. I have two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a study and a bathroom.

    The big bedroom is for my parents. The small one is for me. In my bedroom, there is a small bed. In the living room, there is a chair, a desk and a TV. In the study, there are two shelves(书架) and a desk. I read books in it.

    I like my room.
