Spring is very pretty in Shandong. It is sunny and warm. There are many flowers in the garden. The leaves are green.     

My favourite season is summer. In summer, the weather is usually very hot. So I can swim in the lake with my friends.

    Autumn is a golden season of a year. I can eat some fruit on the farm. It is sweet and delicious.

    In winter, it often snows. I can skate and play in the snow with my parents.

    On Sunday, Lucy and I go to a bookshop, then we want to go to the supermarket. But we don't know the way how to get to the bookshop. We ask the policeman in the street for help. He tells us to walk along Renmin Road, and turn right at the second crossing（十字路）. Then we walk and walk but we don't see the bookshop. We are too tired so we take a taxi. “Please take us to the bookshop.” We tell the taxi driver. The taxi driver laughs and says, “ The bookshop is over there, you may get off now.”

    The traffic rule in England is different from that in China. When you are in England, you must be very careful on the street because the traffic drives on the left. You must look at the right first and then the left. If the traffic lights are red, the traffic must stop. Then the people can cross the road on foot. If the traffic lights are green, the traffic can go. People mustn't cross on foot.

    When you go by bus in England, you have to be careful too. Always remember the traffic moves on the left. You mustn't go the wrong way. In many English cities, there are big buses with two floors. You can sit on the second floor. From there you can see the city very well. It's very interesting.

    Danny is having lunch with his friend Peter. Peter is very fat. He likes good food, and a lot of it. They sit at a table. They buy some nice things.

After lunch they eat some other food. "We must go, Peter," Danny says.

    "We are here for a long time. It's three fifty now."

    "We can't leave now," says Peter. "It's time for tea.”

Our School Rules

    Our school has many rules. We have to wear school uniforms every day. We can't eat in the library or in class. We can't talk or fight in class. We shouldn't play dangerous games. And we can't throw things about in the school. We must finish our homework after school. We should talk in a polite way. We should greet teachers when we meet them. And we must keep the classroom clean all the time.
