When George was thirty-five, he bought a small plane and learned to fly it. He soon became very good at it and made his plane do ①all kinds of tricks.

My Best Friend And I

Mr. King was new to the school and to us. He always seemed blue and silent, even though he was a great teacher. Then many students were afraid of him. I wondered if he 1 a hard time or some terrible experiences.

At 10:00 p. m., Kate goes to the kitchen and sees some vegetables on the table. They don't look so bad. And you know what? They don't taste so bad, either.
