Cartoon is the most popular TV program that attracts many children at the age 3 to 10. It's {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  that the word "cartoon" came from Italian. It first referred to the picture before a true drawing on the wall. In the mid-19th century, it came into English.  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  the 1840s , it has also come to mean any picture that is humorous, satirical(讽刺的) or showing an opinion. It usually comes out in a newspaper and magazine, with or  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  a short text. Today cartoons are a  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  of the daily life of most people. Cartoons not only show their life,  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}    also help them relax.

    Time spent in a bookshop can be enjoyable . If you go to a good s{#blank#}1{#/blank#} no assistant will come near to you and say , “Can I h{#blank#}2{#/blank#}you ?” You needn't buy a{#blank#}3{#/blank#}you don't want . You may try to find out where the book you want is . But if you w{#blank#}4{#/blank#}, the assistant will lead you there and then he will go away . It seems that he is not interested i{#blank#}5{#/blank#}selling any books at all .

    There is a story which t{#blank#}6{#/blank#}us about a good shop . A medical student found a very useful book in a shop , but it is too expensive for him to b{#blank#}7{#/blank#} He couldn't get it from the library , e{#blank#}8{#/blank#} So every afternoon he went there to r{#blank#}9{#/blank#} a little at a time . One day , however , he couldn't find the book from its usual place and was leaving when he saw an assistant signing to him . To his s{#blank#}10{#/blank#} the assistant pointed to the book in a corner , “I put it there so as not to be sold out .”said the assistant . Then he let the student go on with his reading .
