What do you think of the Chinese language?
Isaiah Pablo | It's a beautiful language! I love Chines characters and the meanings they have. I think the grammar of the Chinese language easy. The pronunciation is difficult, though. |
Jia Jiang | I like it a lot. It' s cool and very different from English. Learning new Chinese characters feels rewarding (有益的). I enjoy it, and I think everyone should give Chinese a try if they are interested in challenging themselves. |
Jasmine Cheng | I think it's interesting. The Chinese language has tones( 声调), and those tones distinguish (区分) the meaning of different characters. For example, "十(shí)"means ten, and"是(shì)"means yes. However, there are also other words with the same tone but different meanings. For example,"书 (shū)' means book, and"输 (shū)"means to lose. |
Alvin Hansen | I find Chinese characters very hard. They are not only hard to memorize (记住) but also hard to pronounce. And writing in Chinese is hard, too. The Chinese characters write often end up going through the bottom (底部) line in my notebook. |
