Hi! My name is Tina. I'm twelve years old. I like reading stories and drawing pictures. I like dogs very much. And I like playing football. I'm interested in English. English is my favorite subject I can speak English and Chinese.

    It is Children's Day. I go to the cinema with Amy. Jill goes to the zoo with her parents. Tom goes to the museum with his friends. Lucy goes to the park with her classmates. We are very happy. We love Children's Day.

    I'm Kate. I am a student. I was late for school yesterday because I got up late in the morning. I quickly ran out and rode my bike. I rode very fast. When I got to a crossing, the traffic lights turned red, but I didn't stop my bike. An old man stopped me and asked me why I didn't stop. I told him I was late. He said, "You should stop when the traffic lights are red and you can cross when the traffic lights are green. There are a lot of cars on the street. It's dangerous." And then he let me go.

    Safety(安全) is important. We must obey(遵守) the traffic rules at any time.

    It's nine o'clock in the evening. The family are at home. Jim's father is sitting in a chair. He's watching TV. His mother is standing near the window. She's giving some food(喂食) to the bird, Polly. Polly says, "Thanks! Thanks!" Where's Jim? Oh, he's behind the door. Kate is looking for him. They are playing games. There is no homework on Sunday evening.

    An art teacher asks his students to draw pictures. They can draw anything (无论什么东西) they want.

    After a while, a boy hands in(上交) his picture. The teacher looks at it but sees nothing(没有什么东西) on the paper.

    "What do you draw?" the teacher asks.

    "A cow eats grass." the boy answers.

    "But where is the grass?" the teacher asks again.

    "The cow has eaten it up." answers the boy.

    "Where is the cow?"

    "When it eats up the grass, it feels thirsty and goes to drink water."

    Hi, I am Lily. I have a good friend. Her name is Sarah. She is polite. We are in the same class. We go to school from Monday to Friday. We have four classes in the morning and two in the afternoon. I like Tuesdays, because we have art classes on Tuesdays. I can draw pictures in art classes. Sarah likes Fridays. We have music classes on Fridays. Our music teacher is Miss Yang. She sings well. She is very kind. We have lunch at school. My favourite food is beef. Sarah likes hamburgers best. We all like the weekend. We can play ping pong together on the weekend.
