Early in the morning, Mrs. Black was carrying a big basket of cabbages to the market. She hoped {#blank#}1{#/blank#} them to the people from town. The mountain road was narrow(狭窄的)and the old woman {#blank#}2{#/blank#} carefully. Suddenly she {#blank#}3{#/blank#} a loud bell. It passed her and very fast down the hill. 　　"What did I drop?”

Proving Them Wrong!

I'm John Wood，a doctor at a famous Boston hospital．During the first two years of high school，I found biology very{#blank#}1{#/blank#}．My report cards always said things like“Must study harder”or“John shouldn't choose science{#blank#}2{#/blank#}." It was really terrible for{#blank#}3{#/blank#}who had always dreamed of becoming a doctor．I lost confidence，so I left high school at sixteen and{#blank#}4{#/blank#}working at a supermarket．

One evening I saw a documentary about Albert Einstein．According to the documentary，Einstein had done really{#blank#}5{#/blank#}at school．I began to think that Einstein could{#blank#}6{#/blank#}，then I may have a chance，too．I didn't want to leave my job，{#blank#}7{#/blank#}I decided to go to night school to finish high school．Two years later，I went to a{#blank#}8{#/blank#}university．

     I've often thought I should contact the{#blank#}9{#/blank#}of the Einstein documentary and{#blank#}10{#/blank#}him．As for the biology teacher．I might contact her，too，one day but not to thank her!
