    Last Friday afternoon, our class was invited an old craftsman to teach us how to making dough figurines (面人). When the craftsman came into the classroom, we gave him warm welcome and two boys helped him with the tool box. First, he shows us the basic steps and skills of making dough figurines. We stood around him or watched attentively. Then we started to have a try himself. The old man walked around and helped us patient. Finally, we put the figurines we made on the table and took pictures with the old craftsman. Looking on the figurines, we were all very exciting. We hope we can have more activity of this kind!

    I like riding my bike. Though it is not very new, but it is my best friend. I find very convenient to go anywhere with a bike．Riding gives me not only exercises but also pleasure．I use my bike almost in summer when the weather is warm and dry．It can be very pleasant in winter when it is cold and rain is pour down．It can also be very dangerous．Of course I will be very carefully on my bike．In fact, accidents are not the only problem．Once I went to bookstore on my mother's bike to buy some books and come out to find the bike missing．Now I have two strong lock．

    When I was little, my parents would read me some fairy tales before I sleep, I fell in love for books and I couldn't sleep if my parents missed that part. Thank to my parents, books have been part of my life. Some people educate their children to reading more books. They expect their children to make many money when they will grow up. But my parents just want me to enjoy reading. The more I read, greater joy I get from the books. Reading books also bring me some skills to solve problems in life. I know the ways to adjust myself but then face life positively, especial when I'm in low spirits. So I'll continue to read books.

    There will be a Beijing opera performance holding in a theater this weekend. Now, let me introduce some details to you. As a perfect example of Chinese culture, Beijing opera had a history of hundreds of years. Center in Beijing, the opera has many types of facial makeup what refer to different characters.

    As the poster says, some popular selection will be performed during the show time on this weekend and some famous actors will show a visually feast for audience. So I sincerely invite you to go to watch the show with myself. It can give you some interesting things to appreciate it even though you can't understand that the actors sing. It will be nice experience for you at least.
