Yesterday I visited the Hong Shan Forest Zoo. I was{#blank#}1{#/blank#} to find few people there. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} are very important places. They provide homes{#blank#}3{#/blank#} many endangered animals .They also help to educate the public about
{#blank#}4{#/blank#} them . If we {#blank#}5{#/blank#} our zoos, they won't have enough money to take care of so{#blank#}6{#/blank#} fine animals. Therefore, People should go and visit the zoos more often to learn about animals and help to protect them{#blank#}7{#/blank#} .
However, some people don't think so. They think zoos are terrible places for animals to live.“I've visited a lot of zoos in my life, and I have never seen one I like or one that{#blank#}8{#/blank#} animals to live in .”Jenny said The animals{#blank#}9{#/blank#} in small cages and can {#blank#}10{#/blank#} move at all .What's more, they are only given food once a week That's terrible.

    There is a nature park in the southwest of our city. The government built it to{#blank#}1{#/blank#}the rare animals. The nature park has been the{#blank#}2{#/blank#}of our city.

    Yesterday my friends and I{#blank#}3{#/blank#}it. The workers there asked us not to{#blank#}4{#/blank#}animals. Many animals are in{#blank#}5{#/blank#}because people kill them for their meat and fur. Another reason is that people are taking{#blank#}6{#/blank#}their land and{#blank#}7{#/blank#}their water dirty. The{#blank#}8{#/blank#}is becoming very serious.

    I learnt much yesterday. I think people should{#blank#}9{#/blank#}up more comfortable houses for the animals and help them live in{#blank#}10{#/blank#}. We should do our best to protect them, because protecting them is protecting ourselves.

    My hometown is in the southeast of England. Since I was a child, my family has taken a summer holiday each year in Devon, which is in the southwest of England. It {#blank#}1{#/blank#} takes a three - hour drive from my home to Devon. Devon is a really great place to {#blank#}2{#/blank#} a holiday in England, and today I will tell you why.

    First of all, it's on the coast. This means you can spend plenty of time on the beach, which is fantastic {#blank#}3{#/blank#} it is sunny.     All in all, I think Devon is a great place for a holiday. There is always plenty to do, no matter what age you are.

    One million copies of the seven comic strips describing Mandela's life were published in South Africa. That was a part of events celebrating his birthday on July 18.

    South Africa's first black president Nelson Mandela became a comic strip hero at once. "This project aims at encouraging young people to read," his{#blank#}1{#/blank#}foundation (基金会) said.
