Jim Green is an announcer (播音员) for the program. Most of the girls and boys like the program. They also like Jim Green. Some of them often make phone calls to him and 1 him. There are lots of 2 to him every day, too. Jim Green gets up at 6: 00 every morning. He has bread and a glass of milk for breakfast. He leaves home at 6: 30 and 3 his office at 7: 15.

Working as a city cleaner in the Chaoyang District of Beijing, a busy city, Zhang Jianna has earned the respect and attention of many with her good English skills and her kindness in helping foreigners. Born in the countryside of Hebei Province, 49-year-old Zhang Jianna moved to Beijing after finishing high school. She has worked in different jobs, including being a restaurant waitress and working as a salesperson in a shopping center. In 2012, she started working as a city cleaner. However, it was a chance encounter with a foreigner that encouraged her. The foreigner praised the cleanliness of the streets in English, but Zhang could only understand the word " good". This experience developed her interest in learning English. Even though it's hard to find time to study, Zhang used any free time she had to learn new words and practice speaking English. At night, she wrote down everything she learned, filling up many notebooks with what she was learning. She also used English-learning apps on her phone and computer to help her study. 

Now knowing about 3, 000 words, Zhang talks confidently with people from other countries, helping them with what they need and showing them around the city streets. Learning English has not just helped her meet people but also made her very happy. "I got more confident from learning, " said Zhang. "I feel joyful every time I help a foreigner. "

Zhang Jianna stands as an inspiring example of lifelong learning and the power of a positive spirit. Her spirit reflects a deep sense of responsibility to present the best face of the capital city to the world. Looking ahead, she hopes to use her English to encourage people to visit her hometown when she stops working and help Hebei Province develop.

On Sunday, Leo and {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (he) friends go to the West Hill Farm. It's far from their school, so they go there on their school bus. They take some food and drinks with them. When they get to the farm, the farmers {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (be) very glad to see them.

{#blank#}3{#/blank#} the farm, they see many kinds of {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (animal), like cows, rabbits and chickens. Look {#blank#}5{#/blank#} the rabbits. They are so cute! The girls help the farmers feed the {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(goose) and the boys get some water for the farmers. In the afternoon, the students go to play on the hill. Bob {#blank#}7{#/blank#} David fly a kite with their dog. Kate and Lucy sing some {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(song) with Jenny. Leo {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (play) games with Alan near the hill. They all have {#blank#}10{#/blank#} happy Sunday.

Today is my first day in this school，and I want to tell you something about my 1 school. 

My school is not 2 but very beautiful. It is next to the Luofu Mountain. There is a shop between our school and the park. 

 There are 3 buildings in our school——three classroom buildings，an office building，a dining hall，and a library. There are many 4 in my school. We study hard（努力地） in class. After class，we 5 games together. The teachers are 6 but sometimes strict（严厉的）. Behind the classrooms，there is a big playground. On each side of it，there are tall 7 and many kinds of flowers. On the 8 of it，we can play basketball. On the left，we can play volleyball. In the middle，we can play football. Every day，we have fun together on the 9 .
