Do you ever watch old movies? Maybe you will see one with Carole Lombard. She was a famous 1  in the 1930s. She died when she was only 34.  In her  2 life she made 70 movies!

    Lombard's real name was Jane Alice Peters: In 1921, she was playing baseball in the 3 near her home. A movie director  4  her and decided to put her in a movie. She was only 13 at the time. The movie was one of the last silent movies. She acted(表演) so well that she5 the hearts of some people. At 16, she left school to act.

    In 1925, she had an agreement with a  6 studio, 20th Century Fox. The studio gave 7  a new name, and she acted in several films. Then, at age 18, she was in a bad car accident. The accident left scars(伤疤) on her face. The studio broke the agreement, but she did not 8. She continued to act.

    It was Paramount Studio that made Lombard a 9. She made many movies for the studio. She also married two of their stars. Lombard was married to actor William Powell for only 23 months. 10  seven years later, she married the great love of her life, actor Clark Gable. It was a great Hollywood love story.

Jeff is {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (I) classmate.  He is a twelve-year-old boy.  He is a middle school student.  Jeff is in Class One, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (grade) Seven.  He {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (go) to school from Monday to Friday.  He likes Tuesday best because he can go to many school {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (club) on that day.  He {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (usual) chooses the Music Club.  But his favourite subject is English.  He always practises {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (speak) English.  He thinks it is very {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (interest).  He enjoys {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (he) at school.  After school, he has dinner {#blank#}9{#/blank#} his family.  Then he helps his parents do the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (dish).  He goes to bed early. 

It's seven o'clock. Jenny gets up at seven and puts on her clothes, then she has a delicious breakfast. After breakfast she makes her room tidy. Her mother usually does it for her, but she is doing that now. 

After morning lessons, Jenny has lunch at school. She eats with her best friends and they talk about all kinds of things. Stars are always their favourite topic (话题). 

In the afternoon it's time to play different sports, such as football, basketball, table tennis and so on. Jenny likes sports and she likes playing basketball best. She goes home at 4: 00 p. m. Her parents come back from work at 6:30 p. m. It takes them about half an hour to get home. Jenny does her homework first and then she listens to music or watches TV. 

Dinner time is about 7:30 p. m. Jenny helps her mother make dinner. After dinner, Jenny's father cleans the room. Jenny and her mother help him. Every evening, Jenny tells her parents interesting things at school. She tells them some interesting stories, too. She likes talking with her family. Her family always have a nice evening like that.
