How important is your mobile phone to you?

    I would thank it if my family members could leave their mobile phones at home, {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (尤其)when we get together. Every time we eat out, my son and his wife are always busy checking and replying to emails, while my {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (孙子) plays online games or texts his friends all the time. We only talk to each other when the waiter {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(给……看) us the menu. A family get-together is supposed to draw everyone together to have fun, but mobile phones {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(引起) people less attention on each other.

    The following debate(争辩) is about "For or Against(反对) Keeping Pets".

    Side A: I'm in favour of keeping pets because pets are f{#blank#}1{#/blank#} to us. When we feel lonely, they can stay with us. When we are in d{#blank#}2{#/blank#}, they can save us. Besides, walking a dog is good exercise. Dogs also help blind people cross the road s{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. So we should encourage(鼓励) people to keep pets.

    Side B: I'm against keeping pets. Keeping pets is very expensive. In my opinion, people should donate money to the poor. In addition, some pets are very dirty and n{#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Some pets even bite people.

    Because both sides have good reasons, it's hard for the judges(裁判) to decide who wins. But from the debate, we can learn w{#blank#}5{#/blank#} people keep pets and what problems there may be with pets.
