Peter and Linda are good friends. This Saturday they will go to the Palace Museum. It is old and beautiful. It's about six hundred years old. It is famous in the world. This will be their second time(次) to go there. They hope(希望) it will be sunny that day. Peter's mother says, "There are many things there. When you look in the windows, you can see many old tables and chairs." They will take pictures. They think it will be a wonderful trip!

    It is Sunday morning. Helen and David are going to the People Cinema by bike. They are coming up to a crossing.

Helen: Stop, David!

David: Why? It's late. We should hurry up.

Helen: Look at the lights. It's red now, and it means “Danger”. The cars and the buses must wait, and we must stop too.

David: What does the yellow light mean?

Helen: It means “Wait”. We should wait till(直到) the light is green.

David: Yes, I see. The light is green now. We can go now.

Helen: OK! Let's go.

    We have a nice and big classroom. The windows are big, and the walls are white. There is a blackboard on the front wall, a big new desk is near it, it's for our teachers. There are some pictures on the other walls. There are forty desks and forty chairs in the classroom. They are for us. There are twenty-three boys and seventeen girls in our class. There are some flowers on the teacher's desk. They are for our English teacher. She is a good teacher and we all like her. We often play games and sing English songs in our English class. We all like English very much.

    Today is June 1st. It's Children's Day. My father takes me to the zoo. There are many kinds of animals, such as tigers, pandas, monkeys, elephants and giraffes.

    Look, the elephants are walking by the river. The monkeys are climbing mountains. The giraffes are eating leaves. I like pandas best. They are eating bamboo now. Where are the tigers? Oh, they are fighting. I love all the animals.
