Today is sunny and warm. After I played the violin, my uncle took me to the zoo in the morning. We saw monkeys, tigers, elephants and many other animals. We had lunch in KFC. After lunch, we went to the bookstore. I bought a comic book and two magazines about sports. I was so happy. But my brother, Tim was sad. He had a fever. My mother took him to see the doctor. And then he stayed in bed. He was bored.

    Look at this. It's a pencil case. It's orange. It's my pencil case. What's in it? Look, this is a pen. It's black. This is a pencil. It's red. And this is a ruler. It's green. This is an eraser. It's blue and white. My pencil case is big and nice. I like it.

    I'm Peter . I'm in China now . My school is not very big , but it is beautiful . We can see lots of trees and flowers . There are five hundred pupils and thirty teachers in my school . Mrs Green is my English teacher . She is from New York . There are twenty boys and thirty girls in my class . They are very nice . They often help me .

    We start school at seven thirty in the morning . And we go home at five in the afternoon . We love sports very much . We often play basketball and table tennis . I like playing ping-pong very much . What about you ?

    Jack and I are good friends. Jack is an America(美国的) boy, but I am a Chinese (中国的)girl. He is nine years old, and I am ten. Jack is fat and I am thin(瘦的). Jack has a nice bike. He goes to school on it. I go to school by bike, too.

    Jim likes sports, so he's tall and strong in his school. Now his father and mother work in London. He likes the game very much and plays it on Saturday and Sunday.

    His grandmother lives in a small village and one day she comes to see him. It's Saturday and she doesn't see the boy at home. So she goes to look for him in the school. She sees thirty boys are playing with only one ball. The old woman tells Jim to finish playing and go home with her.

    "But, Grandma, I..."

    "Don't play with them, my dear!" says the old woman. "I'm going to buy a ball for you!"
