Bob is a lovely schoolboy. He likes playing football very much. He often plays football with his classmates after school, but he never goes home too late. He usually gets home between 4:30 and 5:30 in the afternoon. One day he comes back home late, so his mother says, ”You come back home late today, Bob!””Yes, we have got a new teacher. He teaches us Maths,” Bob answers. “How is he?”his mother asks. “I don't know. I think I can't believe him.””Why?”his mother says. “In today's Maths class, one moment he says two and three is five. But the next moment he says one and four is five.” Bob answers.

Jack's dog Tony

    One day Jack and David went fishing. Jack took his dog Tony with him. On the river back, when the dog saw a bird, he would run after it and try to catch it. "All the fish are frightened and swim away," said David. " Be quiet, Tony," Jack shouted at the dog. But Tony did not listen to him. "Shall we go home now, David?" said Jack. "Next time I shall not bring him here again."

"Wait," said David. "A fish is biting my line." "Look out!" shouted Jack. But it was too late. The boy fell into the water. "Help!Help!" David shouted. But Jack couldn't swim, either. Just then Tony came out! He jumped into the water and pulled the boy onto the bank and saved his life.

    Long long ago, there was a bad king. All of his people hated him. One hot day, he was taking a walk along a river when he decided to have a swim in it. He was a good swimmer, but while he was in the river, he suddenly fell ill and was dying. At that time two farmers were working in the field nearby. They came over, jumped into the river, and he was saved. They didn't know who was until they pull him out of the water. The king was happy. He said to the two farmer, "Today you have saved my life. Ask for anything, and I'll give it to you. I'm the richest in the world." "Don't tell anybody that we have saved you," the two farmers said together.
